This is a previous assignment of mine for the second module in my course 'Environment Art/Modelling and Texturing' at AIE.
I'd only been learning 3D for a month but with the help of mentors and peer feedback, I'm proud to show this final work -though I definitely plan on coming back to it and polishing what I can, the more I learn. I had a complete blast modelling this in Maya, texturing it in Susbtance Painter and compositing the finished piece in Nuke. Concept-wise, I began with a shape of a noodle cup floating in the sky and now here we are! I composited this in Nuke with cloud textures I found on textures.com, though one day I hope to improve my 3D art skills and procedurally create my own clouds :)
A massive thank you to our mentor Dan Bryce for all the guidance with navigating Maya, Nuke and Substance Painter during this assignment.
